Our story

E Hoʻolono i ke Kai

Nalu Gear was started on Kauaʻi by Kaina Makua: Hawaiian-language teacher for ten years, loʻi kalo farmer, and coach of the Kilohana Hoe Waʻa outrigger club since 2012. Nalu makes gear for paddlers, and for everyone who lives close to the water.
